One of Tulsa Backyard Gardens’ goals is to educate people about the wonderful world that surrounds us. Thus, we use the garden, perennial beds and area woodlands to teach about ecology, horticulture, soil science and natural history. Each lesson is adapted to meet the unique education goals of the participants.
Some of the lessons we offer include: “The Mysterious World of Dirt”, “Exploring the Natural World With the Five Senses” and “The Life of Compost”.
